About Me.

I realize I am probably not who you picture when you think of a writer. I do not have an Ivy League background in literature. In fact, I barely scraped through high school. For decades, I let self-doubt convince me that writing was something other people did. I thought it was for people with different credentials or better backgrounds than mine. But the stories in my head did not care about any of that.

I have always been the kind of person who gets lost in a good story. To me, there is nothing better than a plot that pulls you in and does not let go until the final page, scene, or curtain. I love the feeling of being right there alongside the characters. It is a thrill to try and piece together their goals before the clock runs out.

My love for storytelling goes deeper than just a fast-paced plot. I am fascinated by the specific elements that make a story breathe. I love the small, quiet moments that reveal a character’s true heart. I enjoy the way tension can build through a shared secret or a slow reveal that happens in the shadows of a small town. For me, a great story is a complex puzzle where every single detail matters.

I hope that by finally sitting down to write, I can share my love of storytelling with you.

When I am not dreaming up new ideas, I am spending time with my family. I am a husband and a proud father to two children. They are the biggest supporters of my journey to get these stories out of my head and into your hands.Thank you for being here. I hope my stories give you that same sense of excitement and wonder that my favorite stories have always given me.

A Death in Zion Falls

A Small Town Mystery of Family, Secrets, and Betrayal.

Dr. Evelyn Porter was the pulse of Zion Falls. As the town’s only doctor, she was the one everyone turned to when life got heavy. But when she is found dead in her own kitchen, the community she served is quick to find a villain.

Detective Hale knows the easy story: the resentful soon to be ex-husband, the struggling addict son, or the best friend who stepped into a life that wasn't hers.

But as the investigation deepens, Hale realizes he isn't looking for a crime of passion but a murder that required months of calculated patience and a killer who didn't need to break in because they already belonged.

In a town where rumors spread faster than the truth, Hale must navigate a landscape of shared secrets to find a killer who has been hiding in plain sight.

Why read this? A Death in Zion Falls is a grounded, psychological thriller for fans of quiet, atmospheric mysteries where the tension comes from the unsettling intimacy of a small town.
